Wood impregnation
Characteristics
In-depth protection of wood. Transparent micronized coating that penetrates deep into the wood. It also contains substances protecting wood against degradation. It is used for impregnation of wood joinery in indoor and outdoor exploitation conditions. The application of AQUAWOOD PRIMER produces a good-adhesion bridge between the wood and the next wood stain layer.
Substrate Preparation
Substrate has to be hard, dry, free of grease and other impurities. Before application of AQUAWOOD PRIMER, it is recommended to polish the wood to obtain smooth surface.
Application
Shake well before use! Applied using a brush or a roller. The coat will dry after 4-5- hours, depending on the temperature and relative humidity. Optimal air and substrate temperatures during work and drying should be from +10°C up to +30°C, and relative humidity should be under 80%. Use protective sheets. Do not work in wind, rain, fog or in direct sun. Wash tools with water immediately after use. Paint in its original, well sealed and undamaged packaging may be kept for a subsequent use.
Consumption
0,7l≈6-10m2 in one layer, depending on the substrate absorption and roughness.
