Colorit - Molerin Latex

Characteristics

Elegant and long-lasting coating of high quality and durability. Satin or matt finishing effect. High-quality, water-dilutable paint for interior walls. Resistant to wet rubbing (class II EN 13 300). Ecological paint – very low content of volatile organic compounds. Available in a number of shades in the Colorit mix scheme. Before application, the wall needs to be impregnated using PODLOGA PRAKTIK product of the same colour as the material applied.

Substrate Preparation

Special attention should be paid to the preparation of substrate that should be hard, dry, free of grease and impurities. For wall skimming GLET F or GLET P product is recommended. The substrate on which MOLERIN LATEX is applied should not be repaired using other material, i.e. should be uniform. Otherwise, all uneven spots will be much more visible than with classic matt paints. Before application, the wall needs to be impregnated using PODLOGA PRAKTIK product of the same colour as the material applied. This ensures better uniformity and coverage with paint.

Application

Molerin Latex is mixed and, if needed, diluted with water up to 5%. It is applied in at least two layers using rollers with short fibres or brushes, evenly, and moving, at the end, in the same direction in order to obtain a visually uniform colour. To avoid shade variations due to the tying of surfaces, it is necessary to work without interruptions on continuous wall surfaces. The period of drying between the layers should be from 4 to 6 hours. Molerin Latex is available in a number of shades in the Colorit mix scheme. Wash tools with water immediately after use.

Air and wall temperatures during work and drying: from +10°C up tu +30°C. In case of painting of large surfaces using the same shade, it is necessary to equalize in an appropriate container depending on the quantity of material. Protective tapes should be removed before the paint has dried.
