GIPSOFIX - gypsum panel adhesive

Gipsofix is a powder compound produced on the basis of gypsum, fillings and additives. It is intended for gluing of gypsum panels to vertical walls and concrete surfaces. Undercoat preparation: Undercoat must be solid, dry, free of dust, greases and other Impurities. Smooth non-absorbent surfaces need to be covered previously by Quartz undercoat, while the porous and water- absorbent surfaces need to be covered by Undercoat-C. Mixture preparation: For app. 4.4 - 4.7 l of water 20 kg to be added. To be mixed by low-speed mixer until homogenous compound is made. Such a compound to be left for 2-3 minutes, and then mixed again. Working time of the compound is app. 60 minutes. Application: Gipsofix is applied on the edge and in pointy manner in the middle of panel. Upon attaching of the panel to the wall it should be straightened by a rubber hammer and with a straight batten horizontally and vertically.

Consumption: app 4-5 kg/ m², depending on the quality and type of the wall to which the panel is glued

Working and drying temperature: from + 5ºC to + 30ºC
